Yahoo!! We have finally finished the netting under our roof. We have seen the birds trying to nest and are reassured when they fly away. Hopefully the netting will stay up. If any of you come over to stay in your property, then a quick email will be appreciated as to the state of our bungalow and netting. Please click to Contact Chris.

We went back into Vila Do Maio for some last minute shopping. We decided to stay in town until the restaurants opened at 1830. We opted for the Chez Pastis next door to Tutti Fruiti, we both had a lovely meal and free Wi-Fi. The owner Sabastian welcomed us and made us feel very comfortable.

By the time we got back to Vila Maris is was about 2230 and we were very tired. The night was the hottest night yet with no breeze at all.
